Controls the SCC1BL Satellite Receiver and the MCDC100 CD Changer. Sealed Waterproof faceplate protects from spray and splashing.

True Marine Audio: While some manufacturers simply put automotive equipment in a box marked “marine”, Prospecs JBL components are thoroughly developed for the marine environment. Circuit boards are encapsulated in a newly developed PUC moisture coating which dramatically improves reliability. Unlike the coating used by most companies in the marine industry, PUC coating is visible under a black light. This makes it possible to visually inspect every unit to make sure that the circuit board has been fully covered!

2 reviews for JBL MR32S Silver Stereo Sirius Ready AM/FM Radio Receiver CD Player Waterproof Marine Stereo

  1. Ron

High quality, impressive design, highly functionable after extensive research, I decided on buying this receiver for my ’88 Baja, as impressive as it looks, and sounds in the descriptions, it’s even more impressive when you hold it in your hands. I’ve never owned any JBL product, but I was very impressed with the way this unit is built as promised, this receiver does not skip when playing cd’s, at least in the year i’ve owned it, it has yet to skip. I have it hooked up to a alpine 450wat class D amp, powering 8" sub tubes, and (4) 6" alpine 3-way speakers hooked to the receiver, I’m very happy.

  2. Brian

I had a MR17S which was not working. I was able to upgrade to this stereo which is much more impressive. I changed out the unit in less than 15 minutes. It was very easy. Only drawback was having to upgrade to new sirus unit box also. Works great. Noproblems
