Important! This remote is an older model NOT compatible with Aquatic AV 4 series stereos! It is only compatible with the following models: AQ-IP-3B, AQ-CD-3B, or AQ-DVD-3B
Supplies wireless control of 3 series Aquatic AV head units. LCD Display shows station tuning, song and folder selection, etc. The AQ-RF-3HH includes a transmitter that plugs into the wired remote 8-Pin connector on the back of the Aquatic AV DVD/CD player. No additional wiring necessary. The RF range is approximately 50 feet. RF communication with the stereo means line of site is not required. No need to point it at the stereo.

Pleased overall. Only gripe I have is that the spring holding the batteries is wimpy and breaks after a short time. I am on my third remote in four years. Had to replace each one because of the spring.

Its really not waterproof. I went through 4 of them. aquatic replaced them each time but after 2-3 days of use floating around in coves the LCD screen became garbled and no longer worked. Took the battery cover off and there was water inside.
