The WR6 was supposed to be a plug and play replacement for a AQ-RF-3FB-(Black) wired remote. The hole in the deck for the original remote had to be enlarged to accommodate the WR6 replacement remote. The cable connecting the WR6 wired remote and the MP6 stereo was reusable.
