This works great as a replacement for a basic AM/FM/CD marine stereo with the added benefit of a waterproof wired remote control. Mount the stereo in a protected place and mount the remote out in the elements. It will play standard audio CDs plus it will play CDs burned with MP3 or WMA files. There are also rear RCA aux inputs for patching in the audio from virtually any external device.

This unit is a marine stereo because it has coated circuit boards to prevent corrosion and also is constructed of UV resistant materials. It is not completely waterproof, though, so we recommend that you use a cover to protect it if there is a chance it will be exposed directly to water. The included wired remote is completely waterproof and can withstand rain and splashing.
