Some older models of MR17, MR18, and MR32 stereos require this satellite receiver also. If you have one of these models that you purchased in 2007 or earlier or possibly early 2008 and you are looking to add satellite radio, the following information will be helpful.

2008 model numbers end in .3 or higher for example instance MR18.3 and require the SCC-1LM receiver. 2007 or older models that end in .2 or below for example MR18.2 require the SIR2.5 satellite reciever. Check your stereo owners manual for more information or call Prospec Electronics JBL Marine at 800-394-1914 to confirm which receiver you need.
