Stereo Specifications

This stereo will play regular audio CDs, but will also play CDs with MP3s and other digital music files burned on them. In addition, you can connect your MP3 player or Flash drive via the USB port to play digital music files or you can plug in an SD card into the SD card slot.

This product is made by the same company that manufactures JBL and Infinity marine stereo equipment. Circuit boards are PCB coated to withstand corrosion in a humid environment. UV resistant plastics are used.

This unit is a marine stereo because it has plasticoted circuit boards to protect against corrosion in a humid and/or salt air environment and also is made of UV resistant materials. It is not completely waterproof, however so if you think it will get splashed or rained on you should use the included cover to protect it.
