I installed 4 of these speakers along with a JBL PRV-275 stereo on my pontoon when I restored it. First of all, the sound quality is very good.. at least with my stereo. Clean sound with decent bass. I can’t say how they would perform with a high powered amp but I suspect they would do just fine. They are really a good buy for the $. The kids think the lighting is cool. I bought these with the intention of using the lights for a small amount of deck lighting at night. I have not had it out at night yet but I think they will provide enough light to be able to see good enough to walk around. Most of the time at night, the all around mast light is all we use/need so a little more is all I want. Plus the colors are cool. A couple notes on the installation that unless you do your homework, you wouldn’t know. First, you have to run a wire for your speakers to your stereo (for the sound) plus a power & ground to power your lights. That isn’t a big deal but the speakers come with a wire to go between the 2 speakers for the lights and it has connectors on both ends. If you have to go through any components of your boat (like seat bases on my pontoon), you would have to drill approx a 3/4" hole to get the connector through. I didn’t want big holes so I cut the wire and fed the wire through 1/4" holes then reconnected the wires with IDC buttsplice connectors. That worked great. I was a little nervous about the sound quality of these inexpensive speakers but they sound plenty good and that is coming from a person who was basically an audiophile in his younger years and spent way too much $ (: on high end audio for my vehicles and home. I hope they perform (lights and speakers) for a long time… we will see.

Great speakers for the money! Nice to connect and mount. Receiver for the led lighting could be better, range isn’t that great if the receiver is build away. Nice sound for the price!
