This unit does not have a CD player, but it offers excellent connectivity for digital devices via USB and also wirelessly via Bluetooth. Compatible with iPods, iPhones, smart phones, MP3 players and thumb drives. Play MP3, WMA and other digital music files directly from your device!
Compatible with Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Spotify streaming services. Navigate these apps directly from the stereo faceplate when a compatible device is connected.
JVC Mobile app compatible. Download the free app and control all functions of the stereo from your iPhone or Android smart phone wirelessly via Bluetooth.
This unit is a marine stereo because it has coated circuit boards that protect against corrosion in a humid environment. It is not completely waterproof, however, and we recommend that you use a splash cover to protect it if you think it will get wet.

I purchased it for the built in xm radio feature, good radio but a bit aggravating to go through the menue to select to xm after turning the radio on each time. Turn the radio off and next time you turn it back on you must go back thru the menue to select it again

Using this stereo in my runabout boat. Does a great job driving an amp and powered subwoofer. Does everything I need it to. Bluetooth works great. Can be a little tricky to set-up initially but once that’s done it’s great.
