This stereo has no CD player. It consists of a sealed black box that holds the amplifier, am/fm radio, etc. and separate waterproof wired controller that can be conveniently mounted.

This stereo can play MP3/WMA files directly from an MP3 player, smart phone or flash drive connected via USB. You can also stream your music and control the stereo via Bluetooth. (iPods and iPhones can be recharged via USB, but this unit does not have the software to play music via USB).

    Great unit for salt water! Had this in my boat for about 3 years and only the i-pod cable went bad, but there is an alternative auxiliary cable that works for the i-pod too
