Description

This package includes the stereo, 2 waterproof speakers, soft wire antenna and a wireless IR remote.

This unit plays standard audio CDs or CDs burned with digital music. Stream your music to the stereo via Bluetooth, or patch the audio in via the front 3.5 mm audio input. Recharge your phone using the front USB port and play digital music from thumb drives and other devices. Use the SD card slot to play digital music files stored on memory cards.

This stereo is marine rated because it has resin coated circuit boards that prevent corrosion in a humid environment. It is not completely waterproof, however, and we recommend using a cover if you think it will get wet.

Great radio!! Love the sound and the remote control channel changing!

  2. Scorpius

Well, I got it, I installed it, and it seems to work. Plenty loud if that’s what you want (it’s advertised at 200 watts but I can’t see how that can be as it has a built-in 10A fuse which, at 12 is only a maximum of 120 watts input so how can it have 200 watts output?). At reasonable levels the sound quality seems reasonable – but I’m no audiophile.

They say both the unit and the speakers are waterproof. We’ll see. I’m not sure how they did that given it has a CD player and a not terribly well sealed USB socket. If it fails after getting splashed with salt water a few times I’m not going to be too happy.

Retailers Note As is stated in the description of the product, the stereo is not waterproof and if you think it will get wet, you should use a cover.
