IMPORTANT: This is NOT the version of this stereo that comes with the connections for Harley Davidson motorcycles. If you are looking for that, you will need AQ-MP-5BT-H instead.
No CD player in this unit, but inside is a waterproof storage area for your digital devices which will fit even larger phones such as Galaxy Note 2 and iPhone 6 Plus. There is a USB port inside for charging devices, plus a 3.5 mm audio connector inside for patching the sound from your device into the stereo, or you can stream your music wirelessly via Bluetooth.
The built in 280 watt amplifier is 2 ohm stable and will allow you to power up to 8 speakers (2 speakers per channel wired in parallel).

This is a nice deck, however after only 2 weeks on my motorcycle the face falls off occasionally when hit a bump, discovered that the little catch inside that releases the face is not contacting good, after I remove face each time now I just make sure the catch is in the correct position, only other fault is it is too thick, I actually had to back my handlebars up a little to allow room to remove face, I purchased after seeing an add that they were direct replacement for Harley stereo but Harley stereo don’t stick out this far, my fault I guess because this was likely stated in the measurements I assume, be fine on a boat but not so much on a bike….plays very nice & loud though!
Retailer’s Note: Unlike the AQ-MP-5BT-H, which is similar, this unit is not specifically designed for a motorcycle.

The radio is fairly straight forward with only a few features, but it produces great sound. Easy to install, I am very happy with this radio, and even though it has fewer features than the one it replaced, it is water proof. And since the other radio (advertised as a marine radio) died from water intrusion, this radio is clearly superior. Good sound, easy to install, water proof, nothing more to say.

This radio is okay, but the descriptions stating a Samsumg Galaxy Note 2 can fit into the radio is true, but you cannot have the radio connected to the syn/charge cable and the auxiliary cable and still get the face closed. I just use the Bluetooth feature. Also, I can get any usb drives to play in the USB connector in the radio. I think that connector is only to charge your phone. I would not recommend purchasing this radio because there are too many marine radios that have better features.

I put this in my 2001 electra glide police bike. it fit tight in dash and the sound is awesome. I also run rockport fosgate amp in the fairing with 4 speakers

As described. easily installed. Used for couple months so far, no problems
