This stereo is a “black box” system which consists of a waterproof box that contains the amplifier, AM/FM radio, and other electronics and a waterproof wired remote controller. The box can be mounted out of the way and the controller can be surface mounted in a convenient location.
This unit does not have a CD player, but it has excellent connectivity for digital devices. There is a USB port for connecting iPods, iPhones, MP3 players and smart phones. Play your music while your device is being recharged! Prefer to keep your phone in your pocket? No problem! This stereo has built in Bluetooth connectivity. You can stream your music to the stereo and also control basic stereo functions right from your device! In addition it allows you to tune into NOAA weatherband channels for weather updates in your area. It is also satellite radio ready (SXV300 receiver box and antenna are required and sold separately).
