This unit will play standard audio CDs plus it will play CDs burned with MP3 or WMA music files. There is a USB port for connecting MP3 players, smart phones, and thumb drives and it will play digital music from these devices while recharging them. In addition it will play digital music files from SD cards via the front SD card slot. iPods and iPhones can be connected via the 3.5 mm audio input jack on the face of the unit. (Apple products can be recharged via the USB port, but this stereo does not have the software required to play music via USB)

This stereo has coated circuitry to prevent corrosion and is also UV resistant, but it is not completely waterproof. We recommend using a cover if you think it will get wet.
