This stereo is a remanufactured unit which means it has been returned to the manufacturer because of defect and repaired to new condition. A 90 day manufacturer warranty applies.
This stereo has rear RCA Aux audio inputs for connecting an iPod, MP3 player or any other audio device. You will likely need an adapter sold separately to connect your audio device. The device will not be recharged or controlled by the stereo.
Because it is an older, discontinued model, this unit will also control the discontinued JBL 6 disc marine CD changer.
This unit is a marine stereo because it has plasticoted circuit boards to protect against corrosion in a humid and/or salt air environment and also is made of UV resistant materials. It is not completely waterproof, however so if you think it will get splashed or rained on you should use a cover to protect it.
