5 reviews for Milennia PRV17 AM/FM Radio Receiver MP3 USB Port Gauge Size Waterproof Marine Stereo

Great little radio. Sounds awesome. Would give it rating of 5 if the instructions were more detailed, but all in all a very great buy.

I got one of these to mount on a river-floating raft, along with some waterproof speakers. This little thing does everything it says it will, and does it well. My only issue was that it is not water-proof from BEHIND the mounting panel (oops), so note of caution. To its credit, even being briefly flooded internally did no more damage than to knock out the USB capability. In fact, I was so pleased with it, I am re-ordering the identical model to replace the one I soaked!

Everything works, but the screen blacked out after just a couple weeks, luckily i mounted it underneatht the dash so its not visible..

I wouldn’t recommend this stereo. It doesnt sound to bad specially pushing 40 watts per channel but since day one the screen fogs up and shortly after the Volume button works when it feels like. The previous model had the same exact bad reviews but I like the size so I hoped on the new model they fixed it. Sad cause I love the size etc…

So far, so good. This is my 3rd try with these Milennia Units, the other 2 died after about 2 years. Since I had to drill a +/- 4" hole in my console, I needed to stick with a gauge style unit. This one is much improved over the older versions. The unit seems more substantial and no fogging of the read out screen so far.
