This package consists of one JBL MR145S stereo receiver and 2 SEA6625 waterproof coaxial speakers.

This unit is compatible with older JBL remotesREM25 and similar and will work as a replacement for MR4, MR5, MR16, and MR15.

True Marine Audio: While some manufacturers simply put automotive equipment in a box marked “marine”, Prospecs JBL components are thoroughly developed for the marine environment. Circuit boards are encapsulated in a newly developed PUC moisture coating which dramatically improves reliability. Unlike the coating used by most companies in the marine industry, PUC coating is visible under a black light. This makes it possible to visually inspect every unit to make sure that the circuit board has been fully covered!

Stereo features:
This unit is a marine stereo because it has plasticoted circuit boards to protect against corrosion in a humid and/or salt air environment and also is made of UV resistant materials. It is not completely waterproof, however so if you think it will get splashed or rained on you should use a cover to protect it.
