So far unit seems to work very well. Only problems encountered so far have been when transmitting with VHF radio. Some interaction due to antenna/unit placement? Also the usual CD skip when crashing through waves ( Use MP3 player and aux input to solve this!)Sound quality and power is pretty good. Playing through 4 Alpine marine speakers - nice sound! For the price, unit is excellent quality and well thought out. Seems better than all others I looked at. MP3 format CD was a great feature for me. Only had for 2 months and still putting it through "testing".
