7 reviews for Infinity PRV250 AM/FM Radio Receiver MP3 USB Port Bluetooth Audio Streaming Waterproof Marine Stereo

  1. Ken

I purchased this head unit from Rock The Boat for an unusual project – a portable stereo (boom box) made from an ice cooler. The application for is beach parties, raft / tubing/ kayak trips down the local rivers, etc. Rock The Boat had a good price and great customer service. The Infinity PRV250 was a good choice for this project and is a quality product. Had the right set of features, especially Bluetooth streaming from a smartphpne (with a waterproof case.) My only complaint is the Infinity has no tone controls, as far as I can see. Would have liked to have the ability to adjust treble and especially bass. This seems like a basic feature that ought to be present in this class of product.

To the previous comment, this is from the manual:

    Radio Operation
    A. SEL button
    1. Pressing this button in succession results in the following menu options: volume,
bass, treble, balance, fader, display. Press the VOL or VOL to adjust the options.

  3. Scott

Easy install, bluetooth linked right up first try, large, easy to use buttons and menus, and it sounds great. I paired it with four Pioneer Ts mr 2040 8" marine speakers and it sounds like I have a powered subwoofer even though I don’t.

  4. Jim

Really nice radio. High quality and works great. Easy to install.

  5. Orca

I liked this unit so much that i bought a second one for my new motorcycle. It drives the 6by9 speakers well enough to hear at 70mph The controls are easy enough to use even with gloves at highway speeds.

  6. Juerg

Easy order handling and prompt delivery!
Would deal with again – Rock the Boat rocks ????

  7. MARK

Perfect fit with the additional cover plate to replace original stereo in a 2005 Chaparral Sunesta 216. Works as advertised. Fast shipping and excellent customer service.
