Very clear compared to the factory speakers that were replaced. This was my first marine install and the grills were so tight I was trying to figure out other ways to mount it. After some jiggling, the grill screens came off giving me access to the mounting holes. Worth the money and the RMS wattage of these speakers matches most marine 4 speaker system head pieces.
