I chose this product 5 years ago when I was laying my boat out and it turned out to be junk. The original one was replaced when boat was brought back to shop for 10 hour service 2 months later because cracked bottom right side and could only tune to the right. The replacement lasted almost a year before doing the same thing but luckily company stood behind product and replaced it again. About 6 months later current one cracked yet again in the same spot and acted the same. To this day it still functions the same as previous 2 only able to tune upwards.

I know the salt water is hard on stuff but dang this is suppose to be designed to take it and boat gets washed and stored in a barn when not in use.

Retailers note: This model was updated in 2012 and we have experienced very few manufacturing defects since then.

Works great and sounds great. Worth it if you want a basic stereo with a waterproof faceplate. I use it with the wireless remote.

  3. Uncle Woody

Not the latest technology, but works great for a basic radio with CD player. Pulls in lots of FM stations. Great service from Matt, too.
